GAP has many opportunities for dedicated volunteers! What are your interests, strengths, or skills? We have existed for all these years due to the enormous help that volunteers have been able to provide. Please call the office and let us know you are interested. Your skills and abilities will make a difference!  Your sponsorship impacts our programs and services in a myriad of ways. The cost of running a weekly support group for a year providing help to over seventy families is approximately $10,000. The cost of a ream of paper is $5. Both amounts are vital to our program. Grandparents As Parents, a Survival Guide for Raising a Second Family, has a whole chapter devoted to how you could start a group. The book is powerfully helpful as a tool, whether you are a relative caregiver or someone working with families.
