GAP's professional staff, trained group facilitators and mentors are available for short-term intervention. Regular group participants can request help with the following common issues:
- Creating proactive relationships with the child's school or doctor
- Advocating on the caregiver's behalf to courts, Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) or Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS)
- Interaction with birth parents
